Marny Duncan-Cary won four awards at the 2005 SCMAs for the work on her debut album "Reason for Bein". Her music combines a strong melodic voice with a country, jazz and blues sound. She cites some of her influences to be Peggy Lee, Etta James, Patsy Cline and Hank Williams. It's been said that her debut CD "kicks ass." She is a rising presence on the Canadian Country Music Scene.
